Grace O'Rourke is a qualified equine physiotherapist serving horses and ponies across Leinster.

Grace is a qualified equine physiotherapist, trained to postgraduate level at ARU Writtle University in England, on the foundation of a degree in Sport and Exercise Science.
That combination matters. The science of human sport rehabilitation, applied to the horse, gives Grace a deep working knowledge of biomechanics, exercise prescription and how soft tissue actually heals. It is what lets her address everything from a simple muscle strain to complex joint pain and lameness, and to build a plan that holds up.
Her passion for horses spans a lifetime, with real, hands-on experience in showjumping, eventing and racing. Time spent in those worlds gave her a feel for the physical demands placed on a performance horse that you cannot learn from a textbook, and a quiet, patient way of working that even nervous horses settle into.
Whether your horse is a championship contender or a much-loved companion, Grace tailors her approach to the individual in front of her. No two horses move the same way, so no two plans are the same.
Every horse begins with a full assessment: a conversation about the history, a static and dynamic assessment, hands-on palpation, treatment, and a written report you can actually follow.
Tell Grace what is going on and she will be in touch to arrange a visit, usually within a day.
